About this tool

A graphing calculator that runs entirely in your browser — plot any number of functions of x, pan and zoom the canvas like a real graphing calculator, and trace values along each curve. A separate scientific calculator evaluates one-off expressions. There's no charting library and no eval(): expressions are parsed by a small hand-written recursive-descent parser and compiled into JS closures.

Supported syntax

Operators: + - * / ^ (power, right-associative), unary minus, parentheses
Implicit multiplication: 2x, 3(x+1), 2sin(x) all work
Constants: pi, e
Functions: sin cos tan asin acos atan atan2 sinh cosh tanh, sqrt abs exp, log (natural log) / log10 / log2, floor ceil round sign min max pow
Toggle RAD / DEG to switch the angle unit used by trig functions in both the plotter and the calculator

Graph controls

Scroll / pinch to zoom in and out, centered on the cursor
Click and drag to pan
Hover over the graph to trace the value of every visible function at that x
Reset View returns to the default −10…10 window; Export PNG downloads the current graph as an image
